Awhile ago one of my friends and I were talking.  I was having a problem with someone who I thought was once my friend.  This young lady was doing everything, so it seemed, to make my life horrible whenever I was around.  I was getting so frustrated with this girl.  But my friend, who I don’t know what I would do without, sent me this link to a youtube video.  It was about loving your enemy’s, and I watched it and watched it… my eyes swelled in tears, because I knew I wasn’t loving her the way God wanted me to love her.  What amazes me is that when I started to respond to her in a more loving fashion she slowly let go of whatever it was that she was holding against me.  So, although it may be hard, we need to love those who do not know love.  Because if you show them love then sooner or later they will see what love is and turn to love.  =) I LOVE YOU, although I do not know you!!!

I just really love this song!  Kari Jobe has an amazing voice!  This particular song is Track #11 from her self entitled CD, “Kari Jobe.”  It’s been out for over a year now, but it’s still a great CD.

Increasingly, I have the sense of His abiding presence with me throughout the day.  His eye is ever upon me in joy and love; satisfied with this woman He created, satisfied with the beauty within her.

My being, the essence of what I would call “me”, is pleasing to Him and the joy this brings to my heart echoes sweetly back to Him as the bird’s chirps of love these spring days.

Living, free, allowed to be me!  This is what has been denied me, all of these years, from my receiving of my abuser’s and betrayer’s messages.  Oh, they did not mean to treat me, ill.  They did it from the wounded ness that lay within their own hearts that were broken and then… became hardened.

But now I hear a different song, my ear is becoming attuned to His song of love over me.  I sense Abba and He are communing about me in love as they watch me go about my day.  I go out on the front porch to feed my strays.  ~Good morning, ladies~, I say to their kitty hearts.  And my Father beams that this child loves the little animals that no one else wanted…I bring Him joy.  I bring Him joy!

We bring Him joy, most treasured reader.  I know not who you are, but I do know this.  That you need not listen to the whispers of the enemy any longer.  Listen to the truth of Abba’s whisper.  You bring Him joy…oh so much joy!

This is what we were created for!

This is What We Were Created For!

There have been seasons in my life when I would have run away from my God if I could.  I have experienced much hurt; abuse, betrayal…the list is long.  But I fear if I  share in my list, all of my hurts,  I might not include (((your))) hurts, confusion, anger, and you might feel excluded and that this God is not for you.  I so long for you to come to believe that this God wants for you to experience a loving, vibrant, passionate relationship with Himself;  that you might someday believe that it can be…Jesus and you…passionately in love….His and your own personal, beautiful love  story

During those seasons when I try to flee from Him, I see in the dance of Charlie and Meryl something so beautiful.  For as the lovely Meryl  is fleeing from Charlie He is running after her and  He catches her from behind and holds her…oh, so lovingly, gently and tenderly.

And that is what my Jesus does with me.  When I run from Him, He runs after me and catches me from behind lovingly, gently and tenderly.  And I have found that…when everything falls apart, He is yet…holding me.

A few months ago, I was clicking around on Tangle (Christian video site)  and I came across a series of videos by a man named Louie Giglio.  The particular message was called “Indescribable” and it was a part of Chris Tomlin’s Indescribable Tour.  I really enjoy Chris Tomlin, so I decided to check Louie Giglio’s message out.  I was totally blown away!  I ended up watching every video clip from that message (about 8 of them) and every clip from the next message “How Great is Our God.”

Have you ever watched a sermon or read a book, and was totally different afterwards?!  That’s what happened to me that night.  And for the next few weeks, these messages were all I was talking about to my friends.  I bought the DVD set on Amazon and watched them with some friends.  They, too, were totally blessed by it.  Some went out and bought their own copies.  I also showed it to some youth at my church.

This DVD series is phenomenal!  It really edified me and helped me see God for how totally incredible He is!  The DVD series includes four different messages…the first two are my personal favorites!  I included a clip from each message for you to enjoy.  Check them out…and if you enjoy them too, get a copy for yourself and support Louie’s ministry!
