First Time Preaching
by Jim on 12/26/2009
Hey everybody if you can do me a big favor can you pray that the Lord leads me and that I remember thats it Him not me at the pulpit tomorrow as Im co-preaching with another person studying to be a pastor on the topic of love and I must admit that Im really nervous. While Ive been a liturgist several times and this isnt the first time technically; it is the first time that Ive done so as an adult and a leader of the church so Im alittled worried.

"Hey, I'm a 24 year old New Jersey native whose actively trying to figure out everything that Lord wishes for me. Currently I'm studying to be a pastor and working on building a new ministry for those who've graduated high school to about mid-20s. Ultimately I expect that I'll become a head pastor of a United Methodist Church at some point, but then there's no rush and I'm willing to go as the Lord leads. Its been an interested trip so far, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for me. If you wanna contact me, go for it! I'd love to talk to you."

Thank you anyone and everyone who read this and prayed for me last week. I feel that I did well as my mother told me that after today she actually thinks I have what it takes to be a pastor.
