1. God’s word is literally the written words given by the Lord. Christians believe that while written by the hands of man it was given to them by the Lord. It tells the story of mankind, from the beginning through God’s chosen people to Roman times when Jesus was born and through his death and resurrection the Lord’s plan for mankind was fulfilled, as man could be redeemed from sin.
2. The Bible says it is God inspired and is to be used for study and research for the purpose of living a more godly life and be better equipped to answer questions of those that may come up from others.
3. No, its the authority on everything.

1.) The Bible is called God’s Word because it is the written revelation of God, written by God to mankind. It reveals the origin and condition of man, and God’s redemptive plan to restore mankind back to Himself through Jesus Christ.
2.) All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
3.) Short answer: Nope. The Bible is complete…it’s all we need.
