You write about what you know

This is advice I would give to Christians in my generation looking at going into ministry. Begin by serving somewhere in the Church where you are comfortable. If you like working with kids then help with the children’s ministry. If you don’t like to be in the spotlight then be an usher. There is a job for everyone and most churches are more than happy to have youth volunteer. It shows them that they are actually connecting. If you can’t think of anything ask one your mentors, like a youth group leader or an adult you’re close with. They will be able to direct you to someplace that you’ll be able to serve easily. Also, If you feel uncomfortable at a place you volunteered then stick it out for your commitment and then move on and find something else. You will be able to find you niche. Remember, that in order for you to be able to pour out yourself you need to be getting poured into. Don’t stop attending some kind of small group or home fellowship just because you start helping with a ministry.

Will you be His hands and feet?
